Libby Clark has been a painter in Kearney, Nebraska, for 20 years. Kearney is where she has enjoyed participating in the annual Art in the Park as well as a city-wide project entitled ‘Cranes on Parade’, decorated sculptures of Sandhill Cranes located about town, many still in stores and offices years later. Her work has displayed at the former Tru Café, where customers were treated to a continually changing art gallery on its walls. She also housed her art studio ‘Wild Windsor Art’ in the undercroft of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, where she was for some time the Director of Christian Education. There she hosted many mini exhibitions of students’ art works.
Libby describes herself as an abstract expressionist who simply loves experimenting with color, line and especially texture in her works. She currently teaches art at the high school in nearby Ravenna, Nebraska.
