I graduated from University of Nebraska-Kearney with Bachelor and Master degrees in Music Education. Currently retired, I’ve taught elementary and middle school band in the Grand Island, Nebraska Public Schools for 36 years. Now I’m a freelance musician playing professionally with woodwinds in Central Nebraska including pit orchestras for area musicals. Currently I play with the Hastings Symphony, Kenny Shuda Polka Band, Norm Sodomka Jazz Band, Thalken-Tesdall-Thalken jazz band, and Blackberry Winter. I live with my wife Christa in Grand Island and pick up any gig that I can.
